Pastor, missionary and relocation industry veteran. IBEC Consultant Recruiting and Training Director since 2010.
Project management. Strategic planning. Personnel development. Relocation consulting services. Interviewing of prospective consultants. Teaching of new believers.
Prior to retirement in 2008, Jim spent more than 20 years in the relocation industry helping and counseling employees who were being relocated, administering relocation programs for clients, functioning as primary client liaison, and managing the varied functions that were a part of the relocation process. He also conducted process mapping and strategic planning as part of setting up new relocation centers.
The 15 years prior to this included language learning in Costa Rica in preparation for missionary work in Peru, about 2 years of church planting in rural Peru, and 12 years of pastoral work in his home church in New Jersey. As a pastor he engaged in counseling, conducting seminars, preaching, teaching and much one-on-one discipling of new believers.
Since retirement, Jim, together with his wife Judy, has visited Latin America about 10 different times for short-term mission ministries. This combined missions and business background has given him a heart for what IBEC is all about.
Jim attends New Hope Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers, Florida. He is chair of the Missions Council, facilitates several Bible studies and serves wherever needed.
